a combination of create a story - GM Mode sounds like a great idea..
the idea of being able to choose the outcomes of your matches and storylines im GM Mode sounds really appealing to me
Its better than having simple basic storylines such as ''Jealous Partner'' or ''Ungrateful Rookie''....
Dont get me wrong Create A story is good but in my personal opinion, the games arent the same without GM Mode.
Even though i HATED GM mode it was fun to be in charge. Despite the fact that the AI would beat awesome matchs you made with a divas match.
The thing with THQ is they don't update **** when it comes to SVR because they don't see us as a big enough reason to fix the game hence why we get late DLC, easy to abuse gameplay, and Bull**** glitches
were obviously all uneasy except for that Bischof ****. WE can make a statement sign a petition amongst the true fans, to refuse to buy the next game if we don't get GM Mode back, and my thought was exactly! "
"a combination of create a story - GM Mode sounds like a great idea.."
that's an amazing idea i felt that should have been where we should be at now. But instead we got RTWM.
I honestly HATE that mode. I don't wanna go through someone else's path to success.
I wanna be in control, the game is obviously exaggerated. I mean do you guys remember Zombie Finlay and Santino?
Aren't zombies the living dead? Talk about a double-standard. WWE doesn't want kids to see chairshots to the head(Which btw are illegal now in the WWE)
but they let em eat this?Well quite honestly, if the demographics they're going for are strictly 4-15 yrs then I'm out.
WWE wheres your attitude?
That phase left in 2002. I miss the Attitude phase. There was a lot of awsome things that happened back then. WWE's demographics are currently any age because of the economy, which is why it is a PG show, not a PG 13 or TV Y, TV 13 and up. They are trying for different angles. Plus in the games (if you can find it) there is a way to turn off the blood and remove weapons from under the ring. I have not found it nor will i look for it.
I believe that if this game represents the "It's Your World Now" slogan then Yukes and the WWE Games Department are on a good role. You have the ability to be the GM in 2010 because of the Create a Story mode, yet it is not the same as 2008's. I do agree and it would be a nice returning flavor. Ultimetly(sp) there are more modes and things that can be done in this the newest version of the SvR series. Unlike 2008, Diva's could not compete in story mode, now they can and it is geared that way.
Yet again if this is Our World Now, we should have more controll on the features that are used in the game. If I was a designer for Yukes I would try to place in quite a few of the old modes as either reguar season additions or as a couple unlockable modes. Bring back in the Bra and Panties match, when in a Falls Count Anywhere match, allow the player to go into the back, in season mode, allow the player to walk in the back locker room and talk to the different wrestlers that there are back there and create a story line there too. I would keep the Create a Story mode, add back in the GM mode for those without the artistic ability to write (like me), I would also be cautious of the amount of information included because you can still over power the system or Blueray DVD, UMD, DVD, or even in case of the DS the cartege(sp).
There is a lot included on the higher power systems like the PS3 and X-Box 360. Yet they too can be over done and that's what the designers, Project Managers, the whole team basicly, does not want to do. They want to keep it balanced for all systems, including handhelds (PSP, DS, moble).
I hope this helps you all.
