Hi All,

SmackDownvsRaw.com welcomes your participation in our Community Forums. These forums are the place to interact with the SmackDown vs. Raw team, THQ, and its community. We ask that you use these forums with respect to all other participants, and to the members of our community at large.

We ask that you please review the Community Site Terms Of Service http://www.thq.com/legal/terms.php.

By participating in these forums; you are consenting to the adherence to these rules. Below are some further guidelines that we ask you to follow when posting.

Posting Guidelines

The following are a set of guidelines for everyone to follow when posting. Failure to comply with these may result in a warning being added to your account.

1. No spam

No spamming. Your post-count is not an indication of your worth so don't inflate it by making senseless posts. Spam is taken to include short replies that add no value to the topic's subject matter. Spam posts can, and will, be deleted by the staff.

2. No flaming

This means no personal attacks or private arguments. Naturally people have a right to express their opinions as long as that it isn't done in a way that offends/insults other users. Complaints about aspects of the game you play are not regarded as flaming but please ensure that you use appropriate language and do not make personal attacks in your posts.

3. Posting Language

While we respect the diversity of languages in the world we need to ensure that posts are readable by all who visit the forums. The primary language for these forums is English. Posts in any other language are may be locked or deleted.

This also includes posting legibly and not overusing "txt msg shorthand". This also refers to excessive use of text message/leetspeak.

4. Don't abuse the post formatting tools

This includes abusing the color and size tags, tons of images or smilies all over the place, and generally creating an eyesore. The use of internet forum pictures specifically designed for posting in threads is prohibited; examples would be things like "WTF," "Thread Necromancy," or anything with kittens in it and a witty caption, like "Even Kittens can't save this thread" etc.

5. Do not double post

Did you forget to say something in the post you just made? Simply use the edit function and add it. Reading several posts in a row by the same user is annoying.

6. No bumping older posts

If a thread hasn’t been replied to in weeks or months the conversation is over, so do not post a response to old threads. Adding a reply to a thread that doesn’t further the conversation, such as “Yes” or “LOL” is not considered a relevant post.

7. The swear filter is there for a reason

Do not bypass it.

8. Use of Images

When using images in your posts please ensure the following:

(i) The image is hosted from an Imaging Hosting Service (ie: photobucket, flickr, etc.).

or

(ii) The image is hosted with your own resources.

9. No warez, none

Mentioning warez, hinting at the use of warez, or the pirating of games gets you banned, even if you legally own the software in question. It’s that simple. Any forum member that provides access through any means to warez or promotes the theft of IP will be banned.

Bans associated with warez discussion are considered permanent. Bans of this type may be lifted at the sole discretion of the administrators of this forum.

10. Do not post porn

Pornography is banned from the forums in all its forms. This includes linking to sites with such content and posting images with nudity in them.

11. Forum Accounts

You are only permitted to use one account to access the forums. Any subsequent accounts that you make will be banned.

Do not make another account to post on when your original account has been suspended. Trying to get around a suspension in this way will get the new account permanently banned from the site and your own account another warning – if you do the crime take the punishment. In the same vein you are not permitted to share access to your account with a banned/suspended member.
