While catching up on news in the 'Community Newsfeed' forum, I was checking the selections for each weeks 'Featured Content Mondays' and found that for the week of 11/23 THIS THREAD WAS CHOSEN AS THE FEATURED CONTENT!!! I think that's fricken AWESOME!! I want to thank everyone that participates and everybody that stops by for suggestions for helping make this thread so popular! This is a new era of professional wrestling. The tried and true formula of "big stars" sunk the WCW ship and could do the same to TNA if they're not careful. WWE has been trying to recreate the "Attitude Era" phenomenon with little success - but when the new chairman gets into the driver's seat, he's more than willing to shake things up a bit.

Trish Stratus founded and established a company for female wrestlers, the Female Wrestling Council, in her home-town of Toronto a couple of years ago. Now she made a business deal with the WWE, more specifically Shane McMahon, so her workers get TV-time via WWE. Though it uses many CAWs, you may find yourself familiar with a number of them... especially if you play Rumble Roses.

This series (there are four plus a PPV) leads into the "Shared Universe" project that I am currently working on.

Hello all,

Two other writers and I are tackling the creation of a continual episodic set of WWE Television programming that is high quality and realistic. Note that "realistic" does not mean that there isn't humor or twists, but that we are doing better than the WWE at creating a product that would be suitable for television.

The in-character premise is as follows: JBL, Tazz, and Trish Stratus have been put in charge of Raw, ECW, and Smackdown, respectively. Trades ensue, roughly leaving Raw filled with most of the heavyweights of WWE, ECW mostly the light heavyweights and cruiserweights, and Smackdown most of the Divas, along with Trish's (fictional) developmental program FWC.

We're currently in our second week of programming... below is a summary of what's gone on so far! Check us out with the tag "gamingring" or simply search for WWEGRing!

The GamingRing WWE Universe Thread!
Three members of the GamingRing Community - JAM Renaissance, Save_Us Edge, and Alissa Drayson - have banded together to create a single, shared universe encompassing the WWE and beyond. JAM's ECW weekly episodes and Alissa's FWC episodes are a part of this continuity; in fact, the new episodes of Raw and ECW pick up after Alissa's FWC/Smackdown Survivor Series Pay-Per-View!

In this universe, JBL has been named permanent Raw GM, Tazz is permanent ECW GM, while Trish Stratus has full control of Smackdown. In a move emulating a more realistic direction for WWE, Monday Night Raw becomes exclusive to the heavyweights and superheavyweights of WWE, ECW becomes the land of WWE's light-heavyweights and cruiserweights, while Smackdown absorbs the FWC and becomes the domain of the Divas!

Hi everyone. I just signed up to the forums and I would be happy if someone could guide me in the right direction of some good solid realistic stories. I put up my first attempt. It’s a month long story as Chris Jericho. It’s ok, I am making an epic one at the minute based on three wrestlers who are on the same brand but get drafted to separate brands. I have taken extra time and effort in my latest story but the one I up loaded was a bit rushed but I think it’s still ok. My gamer tag is beewilson and the story is called, new gm p1.

My xbox live gamertag is thenassman. I am doing a storyline that begins with the current rosters, champions, and fueds of the real WWE. It all begins with the Jan. 4th Raw with The Rock as the special guest host. From there things get interesting as Shane McMahon has purchased ECW and divided it from the WWE. His goal is to bring it back to the extreme style that it was before Vince bought it. Each episode will need to be downloaded as seperate stories because my objective is to make each episode just like you would see on t.v. So most of the time 20 scenes can't do each show justice. Also the create a wrestler limit is very constricting as well. Since I want to involve all the wrestlers and my angle where eventually WCW tries to stop ECW, I need to use many real life CAWS. You will notice that the very first episode of RAW is broken up into 2 parts. However, it is very simple to follow since I give a date that each episode would air, except the first two episodes of ECW are titled Shane buys ECW part 1 and part 2. With each date there may be a part # that goes with it if needed.
I have many months already planned out, I just need to use the create a story designer and upload which is very time consuming.
My story is mainly for the storylines and a lot of effort is put into the scripting. The matches very just like they would on real programming and I don't intend on making them too difficult to get past. I even require you to lose matches at times. The PPVs will be more focused on matches, just like in real life. Episodes are more for the story, PPVS are more about the matches.
Please let me know what you think, because I want to know my time is being well spent.

to be honest, i have NEVER played ANY pro quality story.But i can recommend a good story...its called Jericho's journey it was just okay..not a PRO QUALITY story but its nice..and its for PS3.

i've downloaded many stories but i cant find a pro quality story.
by the way..i've created 2 stories and they are pro quality..now im not selfpromoting my stories BUT i spent 2 weeks creating these 2 stories for PS3.the stories are long and are similar to season mode stories.I hate it when you create a great,pro quality story and upload it happily but nobody downloads it :( i hope you guys like my stories :D (they are pro quality creations)
now im not saying that im the best at creating stories..its just that i cant find any pro quality story..and thats why i entered this thread..

I have a series that is on going. It follows Smackdown starting in January. It's called "Smackdown week 1", as of now it goes up to 3. There are several storylines envolved. There is a eight man tournament to crown a new U.S Heavyweight Champion, and CM Punk is non too happy about being left out. Also, Shane McMahon is introducing new superstars on Smackdown, and they have bonded together to take what they think is theirs. Ezekiel Jackson is attacking everyone backstage, and he won't tell the WWE universe why.

The one I have to recommend is called UVW. It has several episodes and ppvs. It mostly features CAWs (which is why I like it), but there are also WWE superstars. I'm a big fan of seeing what people come up with CAWs. The only issue with it is that he didn't take the time to gain everyones attributes up, but the story is really good. Some grammar and spelling errors, but all-in-all it's good.

I created a storyline that picks up from 2008 where William Regal was about to embark on the biggest push of his career, but screwed himself over when he got suspended on drugs. So it picks up right after he became King of Raw. My story progresses with him launching a complete take over of the entire WWE.
